My MCC Story &
Mentor Mission

My MCC journey began from ground zero in 2019.

I completed two certifications with Ideal Coaching Global: (2019) Coaching for Excellence (CFE)—a nine-month, ICF-accredited coach training program, earning 217 coach training hours (fulfilling the first MCC requirement of 200+ education hours); and (2021) Advanced Training in Executive Coaching (ATEC)—a six-month systemic coaching program. I also completed an additional training program in 2021, Mentoring In Action, to become a registered ICF mentor coach.

From 2020 to 2023, I served as a professional coach for numerous organizations, such as Lyra, BetterUp, and CoachHub, where I earned most of my 2500+ hours of coaching experience required for the MCC. I completed my MCC mentor coaching process in the spring of 2022 to fulfill the final requirement.

By March 2023, I was notified that ICF approved my two (2) submitted recordings. Finally, on March 18, 2023, I passed the new ICF credentialing exam on my first attempt, earning the prestigious credential of Master Certified Coach.

In totality, my journey from ACC to MCC was 4 years.

Now, as an MCC-level mentor coach, my mission is clear...

To borrow from the words of Neale Donald Walsch… As your mentor, I vow to support you in recreating yourself anew in the next golden moment of now, in the next grandest version of the greatest vision ever you held about who you are.

Mastery is a commitment to lifelong learning. The key is to keep a beginner's mindset.

The WinningMCC Process

Over 3 months, you’ll experience ten (10) mentor coaching sessions designed to unearth your MCC embodiment and refine your readiness for this next-level ICF credentialing.

• Session 1: A crash course on what MCC-level coaching truly is—how it sounds, feels, and flows. After this session, you will begin recording sessions with select clients' permission. (Permission forms provided.)

• Sessions 2: We will listen to an MCC-approved session together for further review and discussion.

• Sessions 3–8: For at least four (4) of these six sessions, you will submit recorded sessions for review and self-assessment using the MCC evaluation form I provide. The audio recording and forms must be forwarded to me at least 72 hours before the mentor coaching session. Together, we’ll sharpen your awareness, presence, listening, and command of the ICF Core Competencies and MCC markers.

• Session 9: A dedicated ICF Credentialing Exam Preparation session—where we walk through exam structure, mindset strategies, and sample scenarios so you approach it grounded and clear.

• Session 10: Integration and next steps. We’ll anchor what’s shifted, celebrate your evolution, and set the tone for ongoing mastery.

Small group option: Invite fellow MCC candidates to join select sessions for shared learning and collective insight. This option also saves money on your investment (See Small Group option in 'The Investment' section.)

Each element of this mentorship remains fully customizable—you shape the experience to fit your rhythm, goals, and growth edges.
